Autumn 2022 Newsletter

The Good News! We have had a glorious summer & Christmas is now around the corner!

We have also been busy and opened a 2nd Pub, The Crown at Burchetts Green. The Crown is now our sister restaurant.

We would love to welcome you to the Crown in the coming months. The Crown is a pub with plenty of character and we look forward to building the business and offering our warm hospitality.

We will continue to run the Beehive with the same love and care and make sure we continue to  improve our pub and restaurant.

As we have not sent out any newsletters for a very long time, I would like to thank you for the continued, wonderful support you have given us over the last 12 months.

As we approach the festive season, our Christmas menu is now online, and we hope you will join us for your Christmas parties and celebrations.

This year we will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We shall open all day on New Year’s Eve and open for a long lunch on New Year’s Day.

We shall offer our Christmas party menu alongside our normal a la carte menu.

We are now very proud to promote our private events in the comfort of your own home. All you must do is choose a delicious menu and we’ll do the rest. This can be a special occasion, celebration, or family get-together. Call us for further information.

We shall also introduce our annual program of events. Guest Chef dinners, as well as our cooking masterclass lunches. Dates for these events can be found on our website and on this newsletter.

Our menus will continue to follow the seasons and offer delicious dishes for you to enjoy. Our daily specials are always popular, as well as our quick and easy bar snacks.

In October we will offer our New Lunch Menu. A two-course menu for £20 or three course menus for £24. This menu will change weekly and offer a great value lunch for you to enjoy.

Once again, the kitchen is buzzing, and we look forward to cooking up a storm and creating some wonderful new dishes for you all to enjoy.

We look forward to cooking for you and welcoming you for lunch or dinner very soon.

FROM THE BAR

Somerset Cider Brandy

70cl 42% abv. It smells bold, full of apples, vanilla, and spice. It tastes fruity with walnut, coffee and oak notes and prunes, vanilla and spice and sherry wood. It feels smooth and full of a gentle astringency.

“An interesting and worthy alternative to an Armagnac, Cognac or a Single Malt” Liquid Companions, BBC Radio 4

Complex with a Christmas pudding richness, full of subtle bouquets and aromas. The only spirit on the menu at the royal wedding of Harry and Megan.
